Pinnock H. - Gunner - Royal Field Artillery

He volunteered in July 1915, and in the same year was sent to France, where he fought
in numerous engagements including those at Ypres, Arras and Cambrai.
He was twice wounded and gassed, and during the battle of the Somme was buried by a shell explosion.
He returned to England and was demobilised in May 1919, holding the 1914-15 Star, General Service and Victory Medals.
