Please Note: We have discovered that the unique, sequential Army Service Number was not brought into use until near the end of WW1,
up until then soldiers were given a unique number by their Regiment, i.e. a Regimental Service Number.
Thus it is possible for two men to seem to have the same "Service Number" but are in fact in different Regiments.
